Things To Do in Dallas

This evening I attended the Dave Ramsey Town Hall for Hope.  It was awesome.  Dave spoke about the current economic status of our country, often referencing past depressions and recessions, job loss, etc.

The biggest thing this event gave me was Hope.  For the past few months I have been feeling afraid of what was going on around me, the economic crisis, the gloom and doom that the media is always talking about.  And during this event it suddenly dawned on me:  What am I afraid of?  I am doing fine.  Although the media reports all of these horrible things going on here, the truth is that so far I have not been affected at all!!!  I actually only know one person personally that has been affected.  So I can walk around scared of something that may or may not happen…or I can continue to live my life and prosper and deal with hardships when/if they come.

I realized tonight that fear really is False Evidence Appearing Real!
