Free Things to do in Dallas on Easter – Easter in the Park and Pooch Parade & Costume Contest

Sometimes Easter Day can get a little boring and it’s nice to get out and do something.  Dallas’ annual Easter in the Park and Pooch Parade & Costume Contest is in it’s 22nd year.  If you just want to get out and watch the dog parade and the dog costume contest and listen to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, this event is completely free!  If you want to enter your pooch in the dog parade or dog costume contest, there is a $10 registration fee.  Either way, this is going to be a fun-filled way to spend the entire day with your family.  Take a blanket and a picnic lunch and get ready for the fun.
